Yoji House & Apartments are a private 4-bedroom house and a private 3-bedroom apartment next door. The apartment is in a 75-year-old traditional Japanese house in a quiet neighborhood in Nozawa Onsen and just 90 metres from the Shinyu Pair Lift, less than a minute walk to restaurants and steps from natural hot springs. Yoji guests may also take advantage of the amenities at The Schneider Hotel, including the rental shop (pre-booking discounts available), private ski lessons and the popular fireside Base Camp Bar and Schneider's Restaurant.

Yoji House is a private 70-year-old Japanese house in the heart of Nozawa Onsen Village, just 1 minute walk from the main street, restaurants, free hot springs and just 90 metres from the Shinyu Pair ski lift.  Yu Road is about 5 minutes walk away (a moving escalator) that takes you up to Hikage Station. Accommodation is in 4 upstairs Japanese tatami rooms, and a fifth bedroom next to the living room that can be used as needed. Yoji House has a newly renovated kitchen and is a great option for families and groups of friends travelling together. Enjoy having your own private house in the heart of this traditional hot spring village and famous Japanese ski town.

Yoji Apartment is a private 3-bedroom apartment in the bottom two floors of a traditional Japanese house. What makes Yoji Apartment unique is that each floor can be separated with its own entrance if needed. The top floor has a full kitchen, living room and one bedroom with twin or king bed setup plus a sleeping loft great for one or two small kids. There are extra futons if needed. The bottom floor has two Japanese-style rooms and its own kitchenette if two families wish to have their own totally separate areas but also share the living room space upstairs. Each floor has its own small TV with Apple TV, free wifi and private showers and bathrooms.

On arrival, the house is just a few minutes walk from the Chuo Bus Terminal and The Grand Hotel (the last bus stop) making it very convenient for guests with bags and small children.  Parking is available on site for small cars (large SUV or van sized vehicles may not fit but we can arrange parking nearby).

Owner/managers live next door

During Winter there are English speaking staff nearby to help out if needed, and the owners Gardner & Natsuko (and their son Tai) live next door.  Through its affiliated property, The Schneider Hotel, discounted equipment rentals can be arranged along with lift passes and airport transfers.
