It’s been a slow start to the season in Hakuba. But thanks to a mid-December dump things are looking up in Hakuba.
Kiyomi your Hakuba World Snowfaris specialist has reported a small amount of snow falling over mid-December followed by a bigger dump on the 15th and 16th (about 50cm). Hakuba Snow Fun Fact:
One of 2 elementary schools in Hakuba has a ski slope with a chairlift and a ski jump in their backyard, and a cross-country course in their playground.
The kids at the other school learn Alpen skiing, ski jumps and cross-country skiing. That's why there are many Olympians from Hakuba!
With the first real snow event opening up the season we’re starting to get really excited. Wishing you locked in your ski trip for this year? Make sure you don’t sit out the 2019/20 season.
